Mike Hallock is a seasoned trial attorney and Partner in the Chicago office of Hennessy & Roach, P.C. He is licensed in both Illinois and Washington, D.C.
Mike defends businesses and insurers in complex, high-exposure cases in state and federal courts, as well as clients in matters involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and significant property damage. He has achieved favorable outcomes in numerous high-profile trials and appeals, including arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Seventh Circuits. Mike’s distinguished career includes service as a federal prosecutor and as in-house counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation. His contributions to the legal profession have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Dean’s Award, Secretary of Transportation’s Award, General Counsel’s Team Award, and the Distinguished Public Service Award.
In addition to his legal practice, Mike serves as President of the CLM Chicago Chapter and co-founder of the CLM 24/7 Incident Response Task Force; an industry leading initiative designed to ensure attorneys are available around the clock to provide immediate, on-scene legal support. He is also an active supporter of the Chicago Park District’s Pitch-In for the Parks program.
Beyond the courtroom, Mike is a published author and frequent speaker on litigation strategy, delivering insights through works such as What Now?
