Peter represents employers and insurance carriers involving workers’ compensation claims and appeals throughout Illinois. His practice includes appearing on behalf of clients at trial before the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission in multiple venues, including Circuit Court and the Appellate Court. He has collaborated with clients on defense strategies in order to prepare experts and witnesses to bring cases to trial, while ensuring their efficient resolution to protect ongoing business practices. An experienced advocate, he has also appeared before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and various municipal boards concerning employment law claims, condominium disputes and business licensing issues. He has gratefully served as a volunteer legal advocate for the SSFS Family Shelter, and the Lighthouse LGBTQ youth service organization.
